How can we send you files for printing?

We enable our clients to upload the files and other material for printing directly to our server, without a size limit. This saves time and money and shortens the production time.

What are your references?

We are proud of our numerous good references. Many Slovene and foreign companies - from fields such as pharmacy, advertising and design - trust us and are proof of our dedication and quality service.

Who can we contact for more information or to come to a business collaboration agreement?

What are CMYK and RGB and what’s the difference between them?

CMYK and RGB are colour models. CYMK stands for cyan (light blue), magenta (a shade of red), yellow and key (black). Similarly, RGB stands for red, green and blue. With both colour models we can mix basic colours to produce the entire colour spectrum. The difference is that CYMK is used in printing, while RGB is used on computer and television screens. When preparing your files for printing, you must therefore be careful to change your colour model to CMYK.

How and in which format is it best to deliver files for printing?

For preparing print plates, we need files in PDF format. You can send the files via e-mail (up to 15 MB), upload to FTP or deliver on CD or USB. You can provide original files made in different programs (like Corel Draw or Adobe InDesign) with added fonts, and we will convert them to PDF.

What resolution should the photographs have?

Photographs have to be in 300 dpi resolution for making a quality print. The resolution can be checked in the photo edit program, such as Photoshop, where you can find what size of print your 300 dpi photograph is appropriate for in “Document Size”. For example, a photograph of 1600 x 1200 pixel size and 300 dpi resolution can be printed well in the size 13,55 x 10,16 cm and smaller. When taking photographs with a digital camera, set the photo quality or resolution to the highest option.

What is the difference in prices according to the number of copies?

The higher the number of copies, the lower the price per copy. The major part of the price is preprint (graphic design, layout, preparing the machines, making print plates, etc.). This is a fixed cost, that doesn’t vary, but is divided with the number of copies. With digital printing, the fixed costs are lower, so even a smaller series of copies is not expensive.

Do files for printing have to have the edge included?

All elements (images, background, lines, etc.) that reach into the bleed area, must go over the edge of the page by approx. 3 mm. This edge can be thinner if the product isn’t folded (ex. business and other cards) and must be wider (5 mm and more) with products like book covers.

How can I calculate the width of the book spine?

The width of the book spine depends on the number of pages, type of paper and type of binding. When all these factors are determined, we calculate the width and let you know.
